It's not just about memorizing formulas—these sessions emphasize integrated understanding and help you develop the mathematical thinking that will serve you in calculus and beyond.

Who I am: I'm a tutor with over a decade of experience helping students succeed in mathematics, from algebra through calculus and beyond. I believe calculus is one of the most intellectually exciting subjects you'll have the chance to study—its insights are genuinely beautiful and represent a paradigm shift in how we think about change, motion, and the infinite. However, in a classroom setting, many students — especially those with shakier fundamentals — struggle to keep up with the pace of the material. And when you fall behind, the material goes from beautiful and fascinating to overwhelming and confusing. Often, students struggle not because calculus itself is impossibly difficult, but because they have gaps in precalculus fundamentals that make everything harder than it needs to be. Through my tutoring experience, I've seen how filling those gaps and building strong visual intuition can transform a student's entire experience with calculus—turning confusion into clarity, and fear into fascination.
